What exactly is MyScreenSpace?
A browser extension that shows one small sponsor bar while you browse. Sponsors pay for that space, and you get a share of what they paid.
Do I have to watch or click the sponsors?
No — the bar earns while it’s on screen. Click a sponsor if it interests you. Nobody here is paid to.
What information do you collect?
Which sponsor was shown, whether it was visible, the interests you picked, and the country you’re connecting from — sponsors can choose which countries they run in, and that’s worked out from your connection rather than stored. We don’t collect the pages you visit, what’s on them, what you type, or where your cursor is.
What counts as earning time?
A qualified minute: sixty seconds with the bar actually on screen while you’re actually using the browser. It’s measured against our clock rather than your device’s, and a gap of more than 30 seconds ends the run instead of counting toward it. So a tab left open in the background doesn’t earn, and neither does a laptop that was shut — but you never have to watch or click anything for the time to count.
How much can I earn?
It depends on how many sponsors are running, whether they match your interests, where you live, and how much you browse. The example above is three qualified hours a day for a year.
How do I get paid?
Your earnings build up in the extension. When you want them, you connect a payout account and Stripe sends the money. Stripe checks your identity first, which is required for any payment. You don’t need an account until that point.
Can I pause it?
Any time. Collapse the bar or switch the extension off. Anything you’ve already earned stays yours.
What happens when there are no sponsors?
The bar doesn’t appear, and that time doesn’t earn. This is more common early on, and gets rarer as more sponsors join.
Which browsers does it work on?
Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Safari is on the way.
Can sponsors see who I am?
No. They choose the interests they want to reach and we handle the matching. They see how many people saw their sponsor, never who.
